Notice Board
Yesterday and today I have been working on making a notice board. While I have been cleaning up and getting rid of stuff, and I am by no means done, I found this old frame that I had been saving to put something in, well it is finally used. I did make this for my daughter, but she tells me it is too big for her space, so it is now mine. I found a block I liked "Schoerock Cross" fiddled with it a bit and here it is.
Carpenter's Square
I have already posted a photo of this in the making, here it is complete.I saw this block on someones Blog, and I can't find where it was now, ( so I apologise profusely to the lovely lady who helped me make it) Anyhow it is done now and quilted. I did have a little trouble with it because I had to make two of the blocks different to the other two so that all the lines matched up, but it all worked well in the end. I am very happy with it, and it is the size for a bassinet or a cot quilt.

My Three Seam quilt
Remember that 3 seam block, well it has become bigger, I used a charm pack to do the centre and went on from there. I can't remember the name of the charm pack, and there is no more of it, so now I will have to find something else to go with the centre.
The top photo is what I have so far, the other is a print from EQ7 of how I want it to look when it is done. I have the dark brown fabric and the lighter one picked out, but nothing for the outer border just yet. It is just sort of falling together when I get to the next bit.

I have no idea what I did, but I seem to have lost all the posts I got from other bloggers, I used to come in and read them, and they have all disappeared. Guess I will have to do it all over again.
