That Challenge

Here is the next row.

Swaps

The two place mats that I have made for the "Placemat and Table runner swap" (two bottom photos) and the place mat I recieved from lucky and lastly the "acorn gatherers swap" from Petunia. (top)

Experimenting

I was experimenting with a block, so I just used what came out of the stash. So it was not wasted I made it into a pilow case for my sons big pillow that he has on his bed

The two black objects to the top left are Millie and Jade, I can't get the camera out without a poodle or two turning up.

Doing nothing much.

This morning I am cooking Tomato sauce, the house smells devine, I am getting hungry with the smell.
I am also tracing flowers for one of my unfinished projects and while I do that I am looking at blogs.

I found this lovely give-away onVintage Sandy's blog, go have a look.

a bit of a challenge

Cheryl from Chegres Confabs and I are challenging ourselves to do and finish a row by row quilt from Claudia's Quilt shop.
It is a free block/row of the month. Now this is not hard, the hard part is we will not buy any new fabric for this, it all has to come out of the stash. So far so good.

About Me

My photo
I am a mum of five and a grandma to eight, Four boys and four girls. I live with my Husband and the two youngest children, and four poodles. We reside in a tiny town near the Snowy Mountains in NSW My Passion is creating, the only time I am not is when it gets too hot and then I am just listless. I usually have far to many projects going at once, because there is always one more that catches my eye.
