I have been working on a braid with my stash, I had it all sewn together and ready to put on the outer border and something was not right, so I unpicked. While unpicking inspiration hit, and after a bit of cutting and turning this is part of what I ended up with. I will not show the whole quilt until it is totally finished.

It is looking really good Marg :)
WOW hoe beautiful is that marg. The black gives it a stained glass window effect.Barb
Looks really good.
Thanks everyone, I got it all pinned today to be quilted, i can't decide what colour thread to use, either black or varigated bright colours. If I decide black I can start quilting (in the ditch) when ever I like, if varigated I have to buy it first. Oh well there is no hurry.
I LOVE it and the inspiration that created it!
