Braid

I keep a basket at the back of my sewing machine where all my left over bits land, every so often I do a sort and cleanup, usually when the basket is overflowing. This time I decided that any thing over 1 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches long was going to get used. So I made five braids, of 100 strips each, these have joined together with black calico. It still needs something else though, so at the moment it is hanging on my design wall for me to contemplate. It will come to me eventually.

I Like it as it is, quite dramatic, not sure what you could add to it - maybe some applique.

Marg it's wonderful what you can come up with when all you want to use is scraps of leftover fabric from other projects. Can't wait to see how it turns out.Barb

Its very effective and fun to do and the little bit I did I really enjoyed doing :)I am looking forward to your next idea.
