Those aprons are adorable...totally adorable.
They are gorgeous Marg and I love them. How could anyone throw them out to a Vinnies shop?
Hi Marg, haven't looked at your blog for a while. Gee you've been busy. Love the swirly dress for your DGD, beautiful colours. great apron too.
Can't understand anyone throwing away those aprons. They are both lovely, but I like the pink one best, can't help myself with pink. Reminds me of my DGM's aprons, she was never without one, all day, full ones too. she wore a good "housefrock" (all made by my Aunt) stockings, her only jewellery was a small strand of pearls, and her slippers with the pompoms on. If she needed to go out she only had to take her apron off and put her shoes on! :-) I have made her sound posh, but she lived in a tiny one bedroom house, a very modest place but you could have eaten off the floor! :-)she was a real treasure and only about 4"9" in height.
Marg--tha aprons are gorgous. You ar a whiz at shopping. How could anyone give them away. Just catching up on your blog. lovely work as usual.
I have just stumbled across your blog quite accidently and imagine my surprise when saw the two absolutely gorgeous aprons you have found at Vinnies.
I would be absolutely ecstatic with either one of them.
I have just been given two that were worked by my Nan, sadly they were not completed before she passed away. Another would be wonderful to add to my little collection.
Have a wonderful week and a Merry Christmas :-)
Marg - it has arrived and it is more beautiful than I had imagined.
Thank you so much.
