Row by row round robin

My next contribution to the Row by Row swap, this one went to Suziewong, I made it on EQ6, using the serendipity tool, this is the first time I have used it an it turned out very nice, and is great fun to use, makes all the blocks totally different yet still the same. That makes a lot of sense, but I know exactly what I mean.

BOM swap.

I have joined yet another swap, a block of the month Mystery swap, where we make the block in our partners colour and receive one from another partner in our colour. I have decided to make two of everyone of them in the partners colour choice so that I will have two quilts. This is the one I made for myself, the one that went to Giana was exactly the same colouring except I swapped around the Brown and white.

Pot holder

This is a pot holder I made two of for my neighbour, it is a little small for my hand, but she is tiny so it fits her hand perfectly. I think it would look heaps better in a much brighter colour and bigger, your hand goes inside the slit, and the whole thing then folds in half.

Breast of Friends Block 5, 6 and 7

Its been a while since I put anything in here, I have been working on a heap of different things. Here are the next three blocks for the Breast of Friends. I have also started on the next one (block 9), it is ready for sitting in front of the TV. Block 8 is also on the drawing board so to speak, but is not quite ready to go to the night time activities spot in my lounge room.

2008 Appilique and Stitcheries Swap

Last year I was in an applique and Stitchery swap and I have finally gotten round to putting them all together. I think it looks great. I want to thank all the ladies that contributed to my newest quilt.
Have just looked at this, and the photo is not the best, so when my batteries for the camera are charged I will try and take a better one.

Acorn Gatherers

Nearly forgot, I have also been doing a swap for the Acorn gatherers, this one is for a little girl in Perth. Her mum Rachel said that she loves my little pony, so this is my effort.

Opening Day

Today is Opening Day for the Bag/Tote swap, and here is mine and also the one I made for Ann (quiltapatch)

This is the lovely bag that Ann sent me.

And here is the one that went to Ann, I seem to have forgotten to take a picture of the other side
